This is the highest performing post on our Facebook page. It tells you who you are, based on what God says about you. When believers read this list, they know in their minds it is The Truth, but do they feel it in their hearts?
If you read a statement in this list and do not FEEL the statement is true about you, then you would benefit from a Sozo session. Our enemy, Satan, is an identity thief. If he can steal your identity, he can kill and destroy your destiny. In Christ, you can overcome and regain your true identity in order to fulfill your destiny. Jesus can even restore the years the cankerworm has eaten away (Joel 2:25.) which speaks of the years spent living with a false identity.
You might ask, “Why do I have to FEEL the statement is true? Can’t I just agree with it in my mind?” Like me, you’ve probably been taught that “feelings are fickle —you can’t trust your feelings.”
Your feelings reflect what you truly believe in your heart to be true. Your “heart beliefs” are based on your experiences in life. Not all heart beliefs reflect the truth of God’s Word. When you read a statement such as, “You are empowered.” (Phil 4:13,) you can agree in your mind, but in your heart you may feel something that says, “I am weak. I am powerless. I am defeated.”
The words we speak and our behaviors will actually reflect what our hearts FEEL is true. (Prov. 4:23 and 23:7, Matt. 12:34 and Luke 6:45.)
The Amplified version of Philippians 4:13 says, “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”
This statement from Philippians 4:13 reflects The Truth all believers in Christ should both know in their minds and FEEL in their hearts.
The “You are” statements can be used to test your heart. When you read a statement in the list, and it does not FEEL like The Truth to you, this may be an indication of a wound or lie in your heart that keeps you from walking in The Truth. Jesus said everything hidden in darkness is exposed by the Light. Jesus is the Light. Healing and deliverance happen when we invite Jesus to deal with anything hidden in the heart that does not reflect The Truth.
In the Kingdom of God, Truth is a person. His name is Jesus. He came to set us free. When your mind and heart are in agreement with The Truth, it can be said of you that you are free and healthy. You are walking in wholeness, “prospering in your soul” (3 John 1:8)
In a worship service recently, the Holy Spirit asked me, “Bill, how do you spell Truth?” I replied, “J-E-S-U-S!” He then asked, “How do you spell …
Peace? J-E-S-U-S!
Hope? J-E-S-U-S!
Victory? J-E-S-U-S!
Life? J-E-S-U-S!
He is all these things and more. This is why I am full of Hope for my future, confident of Victory regardless of how dark the world becomes, completely at Peace in the midst of the battle and enjoying Life to the max!
If any of this makes sense to you and you want your heart and mind to be in agreement with The Truth, please use this link to sign up for a sozo session or find the Sign-Up form in the menu bar on the upper right corner of this page. We’ll be in touch with you soon. It will be our pleasure to facilitate an encounter between you and The Truth. He will set you free.
Blessings,
Pastor Bill Kline
